Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our NICU team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Job Duties

Opportunity Details

  • 12 bed, Level III NICU

  • 16 & 24-hour shifts

  • 2,000
    deliveries annually

  • No outpatient clinic

Essential Responsibilities

  • Attending deliveries/delivery room management of all infants less than 35 weeks and other high-risk indications

  • Admissions including history and physical

  • Assessments and ongoing management of current NICU patients

  • Intubation

  • Umbilical line placement

  • Chest tubes

  • Arterial puncture

  • Arterial line placement

  • Ventilator management

  • Others as applicable


Position Details

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-years NNP experience in a level III or IV NICU required

  • Neonatal certification

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
