Program Support Assistant (CCHT)

The incumbent will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant to the Lead Care Coordinator for Telemental Health and other Telemental Health staff of the Care Coordination Home Telehealth (CCHT) Program.
Duties are varied, non-routine, and consist of handling data and coordination for program patients.
Will serve as a point of contact for patients, medical center staff, VISN staff, community agencies, and various others who contact this office.
He/she will also assist with any future proposals/projects that are inplemented.
Will be responsible for collecting, compiling and/or tracking statistical information in support of program operations and to access status or outcomes in relation to established performance measures, goals, and objectives; receives and processes documents and reports in accordance with established procedures, uses software applications to draw information from a wide variety of sources in order to prepare reports; and assists in the planning, review, and reporting of data/statistical results of program studies.
The incumbent will attain and maintain computer skills on a variety of software programs, e.
g.
, word processing, file management, VistA program, EXCEL spreadsheets, etc.
and communication tools such as MS Outlook.
Incumbent will operate web-based software for telehealth program as well as other databases for VISN office.
Must attain basic competencies in operation of the telehealth equipment to assist in troubleshooting problems for patients, answering questions for patients/staff/customers, and supporting the telehealth team.
Incumbent will be responsible for recording, monitoring, and documenting the management of CCHT TMH Program budget, and will include effective utilization of resources and frequent fiscal coordination.
He/she should have knowledge of the duties, priorities, commitments, policies, and program goals of the staff sufficient to perform non-routine assignments, and ability to recognize which information is or is not relevant to the problem at hand.
Knowledge of the broad range of patient care and administrative services at the Medical Center in order to plan, implement, carry out, and advise on various activities relative to quality management/improvement.
Ability to analyze and solve problems in a positive, goal-oriented manner and to make clear, well-defined recommendations is required.
The incumbent independently carries out the recurring work of the office, refers problems/issues to the supervisor that may have significant impact on the program, and only goes to the supervisor for guidance on the most complex problems.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
